hey i need some help....i just had it rebuilt less then 30 miles ago and it already spun a bearing. i only beat on it a few times and i either think i didnt break it in well enough or it was the machine shops horrible building capabilities. but i used my oil pan off of my stock d16 out of my crx si. and i was wondering how different the oil pans are? and if that somehow contributed to lack of oil or something causing it? well any info is helpful

Im pretty sure you just fucked yourself on the pan. What pick up did you use

I dont know whitch pan I used on my last build, maybe the same problem

 

if you change the oil pan, you must change the oil pickup. Otherwise the first turn you take fast will starve the bearings, the pan is shaped specifically to that pickup.

 

i used the zc pickup but w/ the d16 pan
