Default spun rod bearing help

have any of you spun a rod bearing and then just replaced and drove on?
gimme some experiences and suggestions
low budget here
and 65 bucks for bearings is a cheap way out if i can do this
what do i have to loose right?

Make sure to clean out any pieces of the bearing that might have been in the motor. Hopefully you didn't scratch the crank? If so, you're fucked.

we've already been through this with you. if your crank journals didn't get damaged, yes, you can do this. if they did, then you need a new crank also.

what about light sracttches?
polish them out with a emory cloth?
