Hey, can someone give me a recomendation for where i can have rods shot peened?

Paying for shipping and paying for the service might not be worth it for stock rods.
Call some up some local machine shops and ask. If not, ask if they can refer you to a shop that can shot peen.

Really not seeing the purpose of it when buying aftermarket rods is so cheap.

well, i found a company that will do them for 12 bucks each... so i think i will go ahead and do it!

yeah they'll pretty much still be just as weak...mycrx had shot peened rods in his z6 and snapped one in like a week, but he's also retarded.
