Difference between vtec/nonvtec OBD1 distributors
What's the difference? Does the z6 head just have a different bolt pattern than say a d15b7? I don't have a z6 head at the moment to test out and I wanted to know if a nonvtec distributor will bolt on it.

One bolt the top one fits. Notch the holes and use large washers to use the other 2. No matter what though you will have a small oil leak nothing crazy
Me being the sohc vtec ----- back in my younger days and the fact myself or anyone I helped couldnt afford to go obd1 in a 4th gen civic/2nd gen crx we all repped the d16a6 dist on the z6 head
Nice thing about using a dx dist is they are dirt cheap for used ones

nonvtec dizzy on vtec head
My importer back in the day never had the dist on the motors so we would just bust out the grinder and make the holes on the non vtec dist larger/washer and everything was good
The washers are key though.
