well I just put my crx with a ls/vtec all to gether and noticed a bit of movement in my cv shaft when I push up and down. like around 1/4 inch at the out side of the inner cup. It does make a bit of noise like gear whine when decerating. I am thinking diff bearing. any body else have a idea could it be something stuiped. the tranny only has 140,xxx miles on it. 91 s1 tranny. anybody else had this problem before? thanks guys

I never had noticed it before on my other cars. I mean they all seem to have a little but is 1/8 to 1/4 at the end of the innner normal? hope so that would save me a rebuild and a ton of cash and time.

oh yeah and I noticed little groves worn in the diff where the cv input goes too. kinda weird
