d16z6 -> d16a6 Q's
So I have a 93 vx hatch with a stock d16z6 atm, and I have the fj superduperturbo bottom kit with vitara's and the fj I-beam rods. I was originally planning to build the d16z6 in my car, but I found a d16a6 in good condition except it drinks a bit of oil for dirt cheap. I'm looking for 250whp with a wide powerband, and it looks like the a6 should do it just as good as the z6, and I really like the idea of NOT having to deal with vtec when tuning. So I have searched, and I think I found the most of the info I wanted, just a few questions left...
Can I use the a6 dizzy if I re-pin and use the plug from the z6 dizzy?
Can I use the waterpump and tensioner from the z6 rebuild kit (I know I need a new timing belt)?
I should add that the reason I'm asking is because I dont have the block in my garage yet, so I cant compare. And I need to know what parts to order kind of fast, because it usually takes 2-3 weeks to get them here :/

Re: d16z6 -> d16a6 Q's
Well, searching owned me, so I guess I cant use the obd0 dizzy. And I'll just buy a timing bel kit with pump and tensioner included...
Here's something to make this thread a little less useless...
