I'll have to see how many teeth are on this A6 belt and compare it to the Z6 belt. I should need something just about in the middle of a Z6 and an A6.

i just counted 106 teeth on an old B2 belt, which makes sense... isn't the B7 just an OBD-1 MPFI B2? anyway, it's honda PN 14400-PM3-004. i used it on an A6 for a while, but it was tighter than it should be, so i assume the A6 belt is 107 teeth. 19 teeth on an old A6 water pump, the B2 is the same in my experiance. have you tried switching the belt tensioners?.
