d16 head swap on a d15
I have a D15z6 engine {STOCK}
its called to be E-VTEC
it has 114 stock Horse power
With a cold air intake it had 119HP
then i turboed it and i have 180HP 240nm
I guess the listing of the parts i used aint important
Iam driving car races that limite engine to 1550cc
So its the perfect engine
My question is...
My friend has a D16z6 head lying in hes garage.
Would it be possible to do a mini-me head swap?
would that increase my car performance?
if anyone would have some info gimme a link
thanx
and then further one could i pass my d15z6 head to a d15b2?

Re:d16 head swap on a d15
yup all of it is possible if you have the right stuff.
You'll get a little bit more power from the Z6 head from the better flow and it's V-tec is much better. And putting you head on a D15B2 is also possible just make sure that you do a OBD0 to OBD1 harnass conversion on the D15B2 cause that will need the E-VTEC's ECU and you'll need the P28 ECU from the Z6. Or you can chip your ecu's if you got some P06 ECU's and convert it to P28...endless possiblities go to www.pgmfi.org if you want to chip

---- i went to this friend of mine to see the head.
there was no valve covern no distributor .
it was in bad condition and he wanted $250 for it
i showed him one finger.
I guess we are not friends anymore
