WTF are you talking about? You already have a 1.6 VTEC and you want to swap a 1.6 VTEC into it, but you're asking if it's possible to swap the same exact motor into your car?

So which is it, is it a 1.5 or a 1.6?

Maybe he's saying the Del Sol came with a 1.5? Who the hell would do that to ya lol....but yeah...It'll work fine.

I would do some READING on this before you even think further on it (I Google'd Mini-Me Honda or somethin and got plenty of good articles) since it sounds like you're about where I was on head swaps. There is also plenty of threads on here and Honda-tech that can take you through the steps completely.

Bahaha, I guess that could be. Kinda like my 89 came with a gay *** 88 oddball tranny so I can't use the clutch/flywheel combo I wanted to.

If I catch the ------- swapping inferior parts into good Honda chassis's I'm going to give him a good piece of my mind.... ::shakes fist in air::

del sol came in three models. s, si, dohc vtec
93-95 S D15B7 - 1.5L SOHC 16-valve
93-95 Si D16Z6 - 1.6L SOHC 16-valve VTEC
94-95 VTEC B16A3 - 1.6L DOHC 16-valve VTEC
he did say s in the beginning.

i guess honda would do that to ya. key word: READING

Just pull everything, wiring harness all the way to the shock tower cause I know the majority of all 92 civic were prewired for vtec and find out what year that wrecked delsol was
92 civic? he's talking about a del sol and they started in 93.
just swap the motor and ecu and run the 3 wires. simple mang.

And he clearly stated he had a non VTEC model and then went on to say he had the VTEC model, not to mention he never said ANYTHING about having a different motor in it as of now. Don't be such an ------- with your stuck up posts. You were the one that came off with the "I know it all" attitude so ---- yourself.

He says he has a STOCK "S" model with a 1.5

Then he says he has a "VTEC" model which means it came from the factory with a 1.6 VTEC motor(D or B series).

Then you come up with this response:

And I still don't have a clue what motor he has. :P
