1. Something to activate VTEC
2. Distributor from Si
3. Head from Si
4. Timing belt from Si
5. Take oil jet out of D15 block
6. Turbo 8)

Re:d16 head on a d15 block?

This swap is done all the time. It's known as the "mini-me" swap. I just finished building one for my Civic actually as well. Do a little more research because I'm sure I'm going to leave something out, but the main parts you'll need to do that swap are obviously the 1.6l head (I chose the z6)
head gasket, timing belt, water pump since you've got the timing belt off, and something to control vtec with be it either an RPM switch, VAFC, or an ecu.
If your not MPFI yet, (I beleive you are though), you'll need the MPFI Intake mani setup, injectors sensors and all that business, some wiring, ecu, and distributor.
Oh yeah and make sure you've got some coolant and oil ready as well. Definately check the net for some good writeups, theres a ton out there.

if you are going to buy a wrecked si, why not use the whole swap. motor, tranny, etc.

if the block is messed up, you just need what doc posted, a headgasket like trance stated, and add a few wires for the vtec. get the ecu if you can and it will be a snap.

well its the complete car with ecu and everything. the prob is taht the trannys f'ed up and so is the clutch. so would it work if i just swapped out the motor and put the trany from my d15 on the 16 motor?

Yes that will work, but you will have to run a few wires to the ECU for VTEC if you want to use the P28 ECU from the Si. Very simple. Swap that ---- already. :P

Re:d16 head on a d15 block?

yes, your tranny will work. put your tranny on the d16, use the p28 ecu, run a wire from the vtec solenoid and vtec pressure switch to the appropriate pins on the ecu, voila, done.

Re:d16 head on a d15 block?

Just pull everything, wiring harness all the way to the shock tower cause I know the majority of all 92 civic were prewired for vtec and find out what year that wrecked delsol was. If you got the s model also take the rear disks on that Si and everything you can. Seats will bring you some chedda.
