Default d15b7 wont rev past 3500*updated*

well the motor is finally rebuilt, but theres a new problem... it wont rev past 3500

im pretty sure the distributor is brand new, thats the only thing i can think of that might cause it. the timing is perfect

im stumped

yeah ive heard of that. is there a specific cause to limp mode? aka the dist being out of alignment?

the computer put itself in safe mode because one of the injector plugs was broken and came loose. should i nig rig it?

no fix it the right way....also make sure you dont have any plugs reversed, ie, iat and the eacv sensor. it WILL cause you to go into limp mode and stay in limp mode.

Simple always always fix all check engine lights



once that is done 99 percent of the time stuff like this goes away
