d15b trans

im possibly going to be buying a jdm d15b soon and the hydro trans that comes with it. i was wondering if i should use the clutch from the d16z6 trans or a different one. any one know?

which car is this going into. all D-series clutches from 92+ are the same.

its goin into a 92 civic dx. thanks for the reply. im new to obd1 cars. so any clutch from 92 and up will work?

clutches from 90 up will work...only difference is the release bearing.

those trannies are pretty rare, some have LSD in them.

how can you tell if they have an lsd or not?

look thru where the axles plug in. If you can see a bar in the way, no lsd, but if you can see straight thru, you got lsd...
BTW, i have pulled apart an lsd equipped d15b trans, and they have HUGE shift forks on em...don't think they be breaking any time like most of the others...
