I have never broken anything on the inside of my a tranny, but I sure did ---- up the outside of one. I have done several 6500rpm drops and the tranny held up fine. I guess some are stronger than others? Kinda like how some motors blow within a week of boosting and some just keep going and going......

I've broke a few shift forks and a few diff's on some l3 trannys before.

The ZC L3 tranny is the strongest of the bunch.

its important to remember that civics arent sports cars, they're economy cars, they didnt design they trannys to hold up with tons of a abuse and high-horsepower motors with slicks.
