D series head castings question
does anyone know:
do the non Vtec d series motors ( d15b7, d16a6, d16y7 lets say) all use the same head casthing? ive "heard" that the a6 is the best suited head for making power.. but i havent heard that confirmed.... as far as i can tell they all have the same CC combustion chamber...but i cant find info regarding wheather the runners are the same size or dirrerent etc.....used the search function with no results...

Re: D series head castings question
Depending on how large a cam your running A6 springs are good to stock RPM limit, a little over with the A6 cam. If your really pushing it then run stiffer springs such as Isky, COMP/Zex, or Crane.

would you feel better if i said i wanted to run a cam that had enough lift and duration to make power to around 8K?
or if i said i wanted to make ~135whp.. and that would just so happen at around 8K
