Default D Series Distributors, All The Same????

Are all D-series distributors the same?

Cause i want to install a D15Z1 on my cousins CX Hatch.

DO i have to use the one that came off the Z1 or a Z6, or will i be good with the one thats in his current engine right now? also i know i need to get a P28 to have it run good, anything else i might be missing? i know im gonna have to hook up the VTEC solenoid to the ECU,

Any link to a sight that has the pinout... or diagram would be appreciated. thanks... guys...
