you need a crv (b20(nonvtec)) bottom end, and any b series vtec top end (b16,b17,b1. basically you put the vtec head on the block. you have to tap the head with an oil feed lind to supply oil to the head (vtec blocks supply the head on a regular vtec engine), therefore you also have to plug the original oil feed hole on the bottom of the head. you will also need a vtec ecu. if you just slap it together, you could expect around 200hp.

you really dont need a vtec ecu. use the b20 block, and b series vtec head, 2nd gen integra intakemanifold and ecu, and a rpm activating swithc for vtec, as for putting it in have it put in like it was a b18a from the teg

No vtec ecu? well... yes it would work but the timing/fuel maps will be all jacked up, especially at vtec cross over point. You would need a AFC to dial in some more fuel for sure.
