coolant temp

Default coolant temp

k i got a coolant temp gauge, electric and it says im running 240sh what is normal and what is high for the gauge?

180 is normal, 205-210 fan should kick on.

Did you install the sender for the gauge or try to run off the factory sender?

installed the sendor for the gauge in my radiator bleeder valve off the head....

240=overheating



All my cars with a fan on a switch and a fresh rad. would be in the 170-180 range

rad fan died today, I hit 235 F before turning on the heater full blast.

Yet to see if the switch failed or what, was gonna McGyver the connector but didn't have a paper clip

Well not just a paperclip, but a piece of chewed gum, the wrapper, and a sock = fixed radiator. Did it once before.

WTF! Fixed radiator......dont u mean a piece of chewed gum, the wrapper, and a sock =huge bomb
