Compression tests out at 0 on number 4??????WTF??
Well, I did a compression test tonight on the CRX results were 160, 155, 150, 0 the first time and 165, 155, 150, 0 the second time and 160, 155, 150, 0 the third time. Obviously something is fucked in number 4. My big question is after the car took a ---- we still had to drive 15ish miles on it to get it back into town and we NEVER got any smoke from the exhaust, what does anyone think this is?
Bought my car with engine problems. Compression was 170ish across every cylinder except for number 3. Number 3 had 0 psi. Number 3 cylinder exhaust valve also had a giant chunk missing from it. The car didn't smoke at all, just idle'd like **** as far as I remember. So my vote is something just ain't sittying pretty valve wise, and the only way to know for sure is to pull the head
These replys make me happy!!!!! Now I have more reason to get off my *** and do the mini-me (with my freshly rebuilt head that was going to go in this winter).

when i did my test we didnt have the right rubber seal for the head.. so we got the closest one to fit.. haha.i was mid 120's.. which i understand is VERY LOW !.. but i also NEVER smoke unless im well into 5500rpm and up range.. i KNOW any smoke is bad.. but for 120's being so low why doesnt it smoke much and it still pulls hard..?.. either way smoke is smoke !
