Acording to Hayns 185 is exellent and 135 is verry poor.Looks like Im right in the middle.

I should be ok to keep boosting right?Im only @6-7 psi now

 

ive seen a couple people with 150... mine was also 150 in my LS. thats looks to be pretty good

 

i hope u guys have the throttle body wide open when ur testing

what did the instructions you got for doing a compression test say? the ones I read said to have the throttle open.

 

make sure all the plugs are out and the throttle is wide open

 

i new all the plugs had to be out, but i never new that the throttle had to be open

 

I had 195 in all 4 cylinders. My engine has 90k miles.

 

Yes the throttle needs to be open.Yes all the plugs need to be pulled out.


Dam pat that is really good compared to mine.Im gonna start saving now for a good re-build for high boost .

Ive allways raped the ---- out of my engine though.I guess Im lucky its not lower

 

Yeah I paid a lot for the car, but it only had 64k miles on it and the girl that had it before me bought it new... and well she drove it like a girl lol.
