Well i had slapped the turbo on a week or two ago, and i started to doubt the engine.. so today i did a compression test today to check it out.. i have not done a leakdown test but plan to do so in the future.. anyway, heres how it turned out:

Cyls : PSI

1 - 180
2 - 180
3 - 170
4 - 175

This is on my d15b2 with a little over 152,000 miles.. do these sound pretty typical for the motor? the maximum variation was 10 psi so i think im good. open to opinions!

Anything below 150 for d series is starting to get bad

 

i agree. looks good. no need for a leak down test.

all they do is tell you where your compression went if the compression is bad.
