Default compression check on d16a6 vitara

anyone know where my compression should be when i check it?

cause its a very low compression motor, but im getting like 110-115 all the way across and that seems ridiculously low.

anybody?

i think minor threat had a similar build as mine, maybe he can pitch in.

Shouldn't have anything to do with it. I did a test on my car over the summer and I got the same results with it closed as open.

you've both failed GREATLY.

Only way not having thr TB open will not effect the cranking pressure is if the TB is not mounted to the intake manifold.

I guess your running a single 1/2" intake tube as well right?

What? I got 170psi across all cylinders with it shut and with it open. It sounds to me like it didn't matter.

My vitara z6 is 125 across the board.

With your a6 head compression should be a bit lower.

Id say 110-115 is normal.

Throttle open of course.
