I have a DOHC ZC with a custom exhaust with no cat. Im throwing code 9. I know code 9 is #1 cylinder position. I gotta check over my cam angle sensor.

Will this code make my car run rich? I did emissions today with the code and fail the hydrocarbons misserably. Your supposed to have a .8 and I was 3.2.

Will not haveing a cat raise the hydrocarbons? I past the carbon monixide part.

Is there a way to lean out my car with out a afc or anything?

speaking of emissions...i was told that zc's(sohc or dohc) couldnt pass ref. inspection, but my sohc did....can anyone clear this up?

 

maybe u got a dumbass who didnt know it wasnt stock?

 

if your car doesnt pass the inspection(becuase it is a zc) will the ref actually tell you that your ***** illegal and you cant have it?

 

id throw the cat back on and run it again, see what happens, if u have the same,then come back and tell me ---- off and im dont no what im talking about
