The tranny is a 89' DX tranny that came with the car. I used the 93' flywheel and clutch stuff. I can put it in any gear and let off the clutch and the car doesn't move Motor = d16z6. the 89 DX tranny worked fine using 93 clutch/flywheel. what tranny are u trying to put in???? |
Re:clutch problem, hybrid D drivetrain
He already has the DX tranny in the car with '93 Z6 flywheel and the '93 clutch, he said it ran ok..it should.
But now has problems with it. |
Re:clutch problem, hybrid D drivetrain
tranny ran good for over a year... Put 93' Z6 in and now, it won't move...
89' DX tranny ( didn't even grind ), and 93' flyW./clutch/presure plate. |
Re:clutch problem, hybrid D drivetrain
hmmm maybe you did sumting wrong...I know that when your axles aren't inserted all the way in the tranny...the axles won't turn. You need to click it in pretty hard and you musn't be able to pull them out by hand

Re:clutch problem, hybrid D drivetrain
true i had to "ram: mine in there pritty hard slide undernieth that thing and see if the axles are against the tranny
