alright! same damn integra haha. just has some minor problems. when driving around. clutch seems to feel odd when you step on the pedal. when you put it in gear you feel a click in the clutch pedal. its odd. when your rolling around sometimes the car doesnt want to go into gear. put goes in smoothly when the car is at a stop. when you step on the clutch pedal at a stop you can hear this weird *** noise clinking around. Im thinking the throw out bearing might be messed up and thats whats making that noise as its engauged. could the throw out bearing cause the clutch to feel awkward and make the tranny not want to go into gear? my brother just wants to go out and buy another tranny but i dont think its that. i kinda pin pointed it to the throwout bearing because the clutch grabs fine when it goes into gear. doesnt slip or anything. help a ni66a out!!

i doubt its that, you would hear that jumpling around at all times. Sounds like a T/O bearing issue... is your brothers integra hydraulic or cable transmission.... if you need the bearing, let me know donald, ill get it for you today... Call me

donald? what? i thought i made the thread. haha. nah im sure its not the springs on the clutch. it sounds like the throw out bearing as i stated in my first post. how much for a TO bearing mike? PM me with price shipped to Eden prairie, MN 55344

yeah im pretty sure its the TO bearing. im sure the clutch is fine. but there could possibly be some broken tabs on the pressure plate. but the clutch isnt even engaging at all. im 99.9% that a faulty TO bearing is causing this. i can step on the clutch to the floor and it doesnt go in. i turn the car off, put it in gear, then start the car. the car jerks like it wants to stall then its normal again. i just need some reassuring that a fucked up TO bearing can make the clutch not engage.

also which TO bearing to use. acuraautomotiveparts lists two different ones. but for only 40 bucks. but i went to the acura dealership today and those bitches said 70 or 75 bucks

how old is the cluch?
my friends cluch did the same and it was the cluch plate.

dunno how old it is. just bought the car a few days ago. yeah ive kinda narrowed it to the TO bearing pressure plate and the clutch. ive just never seen this ---- happen before. ive broken a diaphram on the pressure plate before and it just makes the clutch slip real bad when you shift hard. never anything like that. nothing else to do but take it apart. have to pay someone because i have no where to take this bitch apart. stupid apartment complex and heres our house so far

a little update i guess. the clutch pedal has a lot of play in it. it has a little bit of play at the top and it gets stiff as you push it down. so i just changed the clutch master cylinder and still the same ----. want to try to change the slave cylinder before i drop the tranny. clutch just feels weird. kinda like its loosing pressure as your stepping on it. anybody got a d or b series slave cylinder that they can hook me up with. i will pay for shipping. i need it quck though. let me know yo!!
