jung4g, is that how you adjust the rear brakes?

"Back up and a descent speed and pull hard. That's how you are supposed to adjust the brakes, and if the back are really warn down, this should help a lot. "

first of all you need to forget that backing up ----. you need to take off those back drums and see if you have any pad material and check for eneven wear. get a micrometer and measure your drums you can get the specs from any of your local parts store. while the drums are off check your wheel cylinders, take a very small screwdriver and pull back the boot both sides. inspect. if there is ANY fluid at all replace them. the last thing you want to do is loose brake pressure on the free way.

ebrake- take the center console out loosen the nuts right behind the lever adjust then tighten

The pedal isn't mushy like if the rubber lines were bad, it just doesn't start grabbing till really low.
