ok, well i'm still having a hard time imagining wtf you mean by suspension limiter. are you talking a ---- ton of spring rubbers wedged between the coils? what did you have in mind because now i'm interested.


Ad i considered changing rear springs and shocks one of the easiest things i've done on a honda suspension wise.

 

for suspension limiters i was thinking of machining some hockey pucks to go in between 2 or 3 coils on each side

I'm also gonna spray my intercooler with co2 between runs, and i'm working on an old school muscle car style cool can for the gas

 

fiberglass hood is in the works too i think... I work at a yacht club full time when im not in school, doing boatyard work, sailing boats and fixing boats, so fiberglass is like second nature to me... and i have good access to materials

 

At the weekend races around my area going back like a year ago they use to do burnouts in blue gatorade some thing about it made tires stickyer but only blue pour some of that ---- on your tires before you run?

on a side note, i was looking for information on fwd wheelie bars. is it suggested that you use preload or not? i remember reading about a crx that had an actuiator attached to them. preload at the line, then say once in third gear he hit a button, up comes the wheelie bar which eliminates the drag at top speed. if you dont have an actuator, would it be best to use prelaod or just have the wheels touching at the line?

This only works on N/A cars :1

 

Pull the tranny, split the case, and weld the diff. Depending how far you want to go, pull the fuel tank, make or buy a fuel cell and put this under the hood. Air to water intercooler is a good way to go as well, can load the water chamber with ice or dry ice. Spray water/meth as well. I can't remember if you said traction bars, but those are a must. Anything you can remove to make it lighter is a good thing.

 

Can also weld webbing/bracing in to brace the shock towers, and go over the factory welds on the frame and body, because apparently they are kinda flexy
