Default ceramic coat pistons

i have a chance to ceramic coat my pistons...btw it a "titanium color" shizz

should i do it or should i not is the question

set up

stock b16a+boost

im worried about more heat in the combustion chamber cuz it not dissipating into the piston as much..

and you know what that means more heat so my 91 pump gas wont get me as far is im worried about

what ya think

Aluminum gets softer as the temperature goes up. Keeping heat out of the piston will keep them strong. Coat your exhaust valves and the faces of your intake valves too. Then the heat will go into the cylinder walls and into the coolant where it belongs...

nice so it wont cause too much heat to stay in the cylinder.. (that what i was really afaid of happening..)

and coat the faces off all the vales right?
and i should coat the inside some of the stem area of the exhaust valve too just not the seat area?

Yes. The stem side and face of the ex. valve sees fire. The stem side of the intake valve doesn't need it unless you're using some sort of egr system. I masked the stem where it inserted into the guide on the ex valves.

Techline has some good stuff used CBC-1 on some 350 flat top pistons back in '98 and the curing in the oven smelled bad but after some light buffing after curing the pistons looked good almost polished.
