Default Ceramic Coat or Heat Wrap???

ok so heres my home made turbo setup (%100 done in my garage)

the manifolds work fine however a big issue... heat the turbo is melting everything...

im getting new manifolds next week, from there ill cut em open and weld in my 45mm wastegate flange and 3" vband to the dump pipe while its on the car

the new manifolds will be front mount for heat reasons,

now the pipes will be steam pipe(thick) should i heat wrap it or ceramic coat it what will work better for the cost

btw she pulls hardcore with the new 570cc injectors and 600hp fuel pump @ 12psi

If you get them ceramic coated inside and out it will do a lot for the heat.

You could also just make a heat shield for the items that are nearest to the heat.

Wrap insulates better but can lead to cracking of the manifolds due to uneven cooling. It also can contain moisture that will lead to rusting.

The best thing is to do both

with just ceramic coat on my sideblaaster header, I have not just melted, but set the distributor on fire!!!!
it sure looks good, certainly helps keeping the heat inside, but doesn't prevent radiations whatsoever from my experience and DEI wrapping is a much better insulation.
Of course, a combination of both is perfect. It prevents the wrap from rusting the manif when wet.
