and did they line up without modification? and lastly are the runners on that intake manifold the same width apart all the way down?

That manifold in his first pic is a OBX with the plenum hacked off.

use a peice of filter element, like flat or in a roll and make the holes for the factory velocity stack bolts then bolt on the velocity stacks, you still have the v stacks and it is filtered and would look clean like you werent running filters.

looks like the obx manifold would work perfect if it only had like half inch or inch of runner left.

nice idea cant believe i didnt think about it. im usin some 929's also. you can use your mani and get it tigged up with some pipe so it fits lines up prefect. Some pics ive collected. Crome from what ive read is the ticket, you can use socks for filters also. Your gonna need ot make a vac box to for your brake booster and crap like that.

yeah the vac box
just get a golden eagle vacuum manifold, it has one big inlet on the side and 4 outlets on the bottom i believe, around $35, just reverse it, run one vacuum line from each throttle body to each of the 4 outlets and use the big inlet as the new outlet for the brake booster.

those pics are nice but you guys really have to be careful with how long the setup is, i built a set, and there just isnt room to leave like 2 or 3 inches of runners before attaching throttle bodies with v stacks. i recommend just enough to slip the boots over and tighten down, when i build my new manifold i am gonna try to tilt the setup at and upward angle, sort of like the ae86 gts ones. but i only want to use half inch or inch max for the actual runners.

I might just copy the Eagle Vacuum deal and TIG it out of aluminum.

Just go to a tool place and get an air manifold for Pnuematic Tools. It's like 2-5 dollars and aluminum.
