Large vise grips and a 12x1.25 dye
Clean up the threads, use a new nut (if the threads are fucked) and dont forget to use a new cotter pin. I get cars all the time that kids mushroom the ---- out of balljoints.

I stripped a castlenut once and couldnt get it tight enough to put the safety pin through. the result my car losing control, veering across 2 lanes of traffic and me hitting a 19 y/o kid off his motorized scooter. the scooter was toast, but he was ok because he flew over the sidewalk and landed in grass. my control arm had hit the pavement, carving a nice groove, and the drivers side tire was tucked nicely into the wheel well. dont half *** your suspension, it will save your life and money.

yea, definatly dont half *** this. i was racing a friend at over 120 last year, and as soon as we came to a stop i tried to switch lanes and the drivers side of my car hit the ground. castle nut came off, tire up in the wheelwell, broke 2 of 3 bearings on my inner cv joint. it was a mess. and im very very lucky it didnt happen 2 minutes earlier.

Re: Castle nut is stripped... please HELP!
Well I got that little ****** off.
Pipe wrenches ------ own
I have never encountered such a bitch of a castle nut in my life, even after a few full turns it was still just as hard to turn the entire way until it was off. My threads look ok so I should be able to keep the balljoint in there.
Thanks again for your input everybody, I really appreciate it.
