Oh man that sucks...I had the same thing happen to me but not on a oil pan...All I did was seal up the bolt and make a new one...Yeah ghetto but it works...I seen people talking about ez out and stuff in that nature..But I really can talk since I havent tried it....Best of luck bro.

ah! That's real bad. This shows that taking your time is quite important... over the simple things @ that.

beat a smaller socket on it or use a chizel to loosen it not to cut it off... might have to take the dust shield off to get a better shot at it.. good luck

let me guess you used a 12pt socket on it? lol

if its really fucked up, get a 6in extension with a 3/8's socket and beat it on that ------- 10mm. It should come right off.

dont use a smaller socket and beat on it!!! use a set of vis grip. they always work for me. trust me it will work <-- ASE certified ghetto rigger. hahahah j/k but the vis grip will work though.

wtf are you talking about? vise grips? The bolt that he has specified "Oil pan nut near tranny side" those bolts are not even accessable with a vise grip.

Your best bet would to be using a smaller sized socket to beat it on (done several times throughout the years) or use a chizel/punch and beat it counter clockwise.

But the real problem is that dustin is a girl and he is using his "lifeline" thread to help him, hah..

thank you Jeff, yes its impossible to get to with a pair of vise grips (i posted that like 5 times on honda-tech and they still said that).
yes i was using a 12pt accually, is that bad? anyway we got it off. think my friend used a 6pt regular socket and got it off (the only 10mm i have is a 12pt, lots all the others )

you need to buy a set of 6 point metric sockets.. 12pts are ------- gay, they come with most cheap sets.
