what kind of place would I be looking for to buy that carbon fiber and resin? I would like to make myself a one piece front end eventually, and it would be pretty pimp to have it made of carbon fiber.

hey whitney, what's the process of making things of carbon fiber? I've found a few places online (www.fiberglasswarehouse.com and www.shopmaniac.com) that sell it and the resin. do you lay the fiber in the mold then just put resin over it and you're done?

why not save yourself the trouble and buy some of that carbon fiber sticker paper off ebay.

for a race car, use fiberglass. carbon fiber is too damn expensive for anything.

I don't buy carbon sticker paper off Ebay because I'm not a ***. carbon fiber isn't that expensive when you compare it to fiberglass + prepwork + painting

Carbon Fiber is a cloth so you basically make a mold and paint the resin onto it. Than lots of sanding and clearcoat. Its a very time consuming process
