Re:Carbon fiber

If I saw you driving a carbon fiber hatch, i would smash your car. For 3 reasons:

1.) A whole BODY made of carbon fiber would cost ____- (fill in black with 5 digits). With that money you could make that hatch as fast as a 20 winged bat on speed, AND make it look good.

2.) Carbon fiber looks good, but goddamn. A whole car? That's just asking for a 'trailor queen' nameplate to go on it's carbon fiber ass.

3.) CF hoods=good ....... CF car=hulk smash.

There's a reason you can't find any websites that sell body kit for 93 hatches, would you like to take a guess why? - Matt

Haha, this thread brought a smile to my face. Is this carbon fiber ----- of a car going to be street driven? That would be the biggest waste of money I could think of. For a full race car or a worthless trailer queen it might be a good idea, but not for the street. Let's say at the least you spend $25,000 on this idea. Now let's say some dumbass pulls out in front of you. BAM! Your pride and joy is fuxored and your $25,000 is pissed away. Unless you claim this carbon fiber master piece on your insurance. I'm sure they would love that. :o

Re:Carbon fiber

if you get to the point where an entire carbon fiber body would even be worth it you will have spent way more money on your car then all of the members of this site put together and you wouldn't need to ask how much it would cost or where to get it because "your people" would handle all of that.

spend your money on a turbo kit or an upgrade to your kit if you already have one put together.
