carb to mpfi

Re:carb to mpfi
Yeah, it's possible, but it's going to be a ****. You need to swap the ENTIRE harness over, from the ECU to all the sensors. If you have the harness and know where everything goes it should be cake. Best of all, nobody will expect it. Go to a junkyard and rip out an entire harness out of the appropriate car and slap that ---- in.

Re:carb to mpfi
easy task
Well teh fuel line mod's aint that difficult.
A friend of mine turboed his carb and he put another gas tank with a electrical fuel pump from a mpfi car bought some gas hoses ran new gas hoses and a return line...that took a few hours not much maybe 2 hours for a first timer.
The MPFI swap...well if you're handy it will work out fine..... Just take your time to plan it and know what you need and have to do first.
Good planning is half the job....and after that everything is pretty much easy.
