Yep thanks! And now I have an alternator problem....

I checked the output with a multimeter and it reads 19.8V. It sucks, I always get problem with alternators... I changed it in september I think.

There is no way I can put this ------- clutch into it...

lol i remember doing a a6 trans for a friend in my parents garage. pulled it out for the night so my parents could park there cars inside. i didnt tighten the lower balljoint nut and as soon as it hit the driveway it pulled all the threads out and the wheel kicked out. had to finish the swap in about 5 inches of snow.

Since the car is moving I'll get it to my parent's house and did it there.

Alternator are bitch to remove. Less than a timing belt tho...

I just need to find a way to control this 19V output. Last time I drove it the battery light went on only at >3500rpm. Yesterday the light was on on idle, so I don't know how far I will go with that.

This winter looks the same as last one. I hope we will get less than 4m of snow this year...

stop running 20v through your system before you turn your car into a hotrex hatch

Yes I know. I guess the ECU doesn't like very much 20V in the ***.

What is the output in AMP from the alternator?

i'd figure it around 60 or so. find your voltage tap wire from the alt and connect it to your output lug. it'll bandaid it a little (1-2v lower or more than your current)
