My brother is looking at this 90-91 civic STD hatch. The new paint job is alright, and the interior is good. But the guy said you can start the car up, and it'll run fine for a while, then all it'll die all of a sudden. We haven't test driven yet, so I'm going by what the guy said over the phone. I was thinking maybe a clogged fuel system? Any other ideas. BTW I think my brother can get it for a good deal if we hurry. So I need ideas quick. Thanks!

 

u have to look at it first and see how it dieds.
the rpm could drop to zero then died or the engine could just shut off like u turned the key.

 

Yeah we're gonna drive it tomorrow. I just want an idea of what it could be. I might be able to get a killer deal on it if I hurry.
