Can I reuse my stock wrist pins when replacing piston?

Re: Can I reuse my stock wrist pins when replacing piston?
you'll probably actually have to. On forged pistons the wrist pins are sliding so you can reuse them, but with cast piston's the pins are a little bit larger than the hole for them in the piston, which means that if you re-use old used wrist pins then they won't hold tight onto the piston and rod which could me it slides to the side and scratch's up your cylinder wall's... burn's oil....looses comp...and can screw up your rings.

I reused mine in my bike last time I rebuilt it. I fucked one of the new ones up so I kinda had to.

Are you talking about the pistons and rods I sent you?
You do not have to buy anything new except the rings and maybe the bearing if they arent within spec.
you only replace the wrist pin when u remove the pin from the piston/rod.

heh, I made this post before I bought those from you. I was planning to buy one piston and just swap them out at first. I will be getting new bearings on #1 fo sho. I doubt the bearings on the rods you send will be within spec for mine...we'll see. it would be awesome if they were.
