Can I reuse head bolts?

I was just told that I cant reuse my head bolts.
News to me.

Truth?

A quick search on HT makes it clear that you cant reuse them.

OEM head bolts are like $2 each, right?

You can re-use them as they are not torque to yield but for what they cost why bother.

You can I resued mine in my old zc I dont want to now how many times. Never had any problems but it was a naaturally asspirated motor so ya

chris means if you are planning to boost that shiet get new ones or go with ARP. if you are planning to just have it as a beater and have it N/A just reuse the damn bolts and torque it a bit more than spec.

yea when i did my first head swap i ended up taking it off a couple times after having everything torqued down, i have always reused that ---- and never had any issues, but it was always just stock/na .
