To reuse or not to reuse?

To reuse or not to reuse?
Ok, so I put on a fresh oem headgasket on my z6, added arp headstuds, and had the head resurfaced. When I got it all bolted down I discovered a crack in the cam girdle bracket and in the cam girdle that was caused by the machine shop. The machine shop has conceded to buy me a new head, but now my question is whether or not I can re-use the gasket.
I have never started the car with it on, but it has been torqued down all the way. I was thinking that maybe I can if I use some copper gasket spray, but Honda says no. What do you guys think.

Re:To reuse or not to reuse?
Honda says no about what, reusing the gasket or the copper spray? I would say yes to both. Copper spray is the ---- and as long as you haven't ran the car it should be fine.

I have never heard of a material you can't use it on? If there is a material you aren't supposed to use it on, I probably did it anyways. I love that ----. I spray it on every gasket I use. It's a PITA sometimes to get that ---- off though.
