Cam timing offset of d15b2 block with d16z6
I sent a rod through to the block of my d16z6 so I was forced to build a mini-me from a d15b2 block and a d16z6 head and headgasket. The motor runs well but I had to retard the distributor all the way just to get the igniton timing to 16 deg so I am asuming the cam timing is a little off with this head and block combo. I want to know if anybody knows exactly how many degrees the cam needs to be offset on my cam gear to get it all back to 0deg.

just to point out..retarding the timing on the dist. affects timin throughout the whole rpm band. but if you ever look at tdc on a z6 compared to a b2 you'd notice that the b2's "UP" mark is more the the right then the z6.... i've done this swap a while back and you just got to get an adjustable camgear and set the BLOCK on tdc. then set the z6 head on tdc. then use the cam gear to compensate the changes. thats the only thing i know off.
