A/C fan without A/C?
This question is for a crx that lost it's a/c do to turbo...
I've thought of a way to get air to my intercooler that's crammed under the hood of my rex. I'm thinking of bolting the a/c fan to the backside of the intercooler then running some duct work from the front of the intercooler to cooler temps ouside the engine bay.
How do I make the fan work without the a/c though? I think the fan only runs when the a/c clutch kicks on, right? any info would rock(besides the manual, I"m looking right now)

Re:A/C fan without A/C?
Ever thought about rewiring it?
It doesn't have to run off the A/C.

Re:A/C fan without A/C?
Just find the negative wire, ground it. then run a wire to the positive from a switch in your car, and then run a wire from the battery to the switch. you should probably put in a fuse as well. Then you can turn it on and off with your switch.
