Just curious, why would you want to do that?

I had to do that a while back during my ECU mess. To remove the VSS, I pulled pin B16, which in turn causes the check engine light to come on, which is solved with a little piece of black electrical tape and hard wiring the vtec to be on all the time.

All of this was done in order to go faster than 112 mph at the track. What a pain, plus it ran like crap at throttle on coming out of the corners until you get to the vtec maps in the ecu.

Thank god for the AEM EMS!, and Jeff and Beau for the use of the zdyne and spare PR3 until I got my crap together.

Ya, your best bet is to modify the ECU code. Speed limiters can be removed and/or changed depending on how in depth you'd like to go with the code.

There are some editors out there that will let you mod it, others remove it. Or you can do it the old fashioned way and disassemble it and find it yourself.
