budget piston rings replacement??

No smoke is good ----. That was the whoops to much nitrous on that zc motor treatment.

I too have done a re-ring with the engine and crank still in place. I did not reuse old bearings though and I did torque and check clearances. When you hone, be careful not to get any hone lube on the crank. That stuff is liquid sandpaper so clean thoroughly. I've put almost 20k miles on mine.

Yes I have been very ------- lazy in putting that up. The video to block notching that is. What was the question for me?

You can use ATF instead of hone lube. It will work 'nearly' as well, just takes a minute longer. Dont have to worry about getting it everywhere.
