The full white HID bulbs have been shown to cause less irritation to oncomming traffic.

Either way, I wouldn't spend the $ on bulbs. If you are some crazy night rally *****, then get extra lights.

i've used silver stars, luminics, and a few other brands. right now i have some no name generic 'jdm yellow' bulbs, and they're by far better than any other's i've used. they look really good, they're not 'blinding' to oncoming traffic, but they illuminate a much larger area than any other bulb i've used, and they work unbelievably well if it's dark and raining. i've never even turned my brights on with these things, seriously, i've never needed to, that's how well they work.

i put some luminics in my car, better than stock, about 285 $ cheaper than hid's

Hid kits are annoying if you do not do the retrofit, and that just drives up the cost. its not really worth it.

I bought these on ebay they are higher wattage then regular 100/90w instead of 60/55w and they are bright white not blue. I am happy with them but with any higher wattage bulb they do burn out sooner. So get two sets.

I am getting a set of H4's(headlights) and H11's(foglights) for my gf car they are both high wattage so she should be able to see everything. This is a different brand, when I get them in I will update you if these are a good choice also.

$10 a set for bulbs is cheap, I believe even Wal-mart charges almost $20 for their cheapest set of bulbs.

ive had some yellow bulbs before. they worked pretty well but i was afraid i would get pulled over haha so i took em out. i really dont like the headlights with a bluish or purple tint. you cant see for ---- at night. silverstars work great though. just kinda expensive
