Have you used either green stuff or red stuff?
green stuff has a tendency to scar rotors, not so interested in those. how did the reds feel? did they take a while to warm up or did they heat up quickly?
If you dont have a clue dont bother responding.
Alright, lemme break this down to you, you didnt wanna listen to my advice about the pads i suggested, Im a brake tech bro. none of the higher end pads will have any effect on your rotors, the green and red stuff EBC pads are meant for cross drilled or slotted rotors, you wanna stop? get some semi metalic pads, they will rip up your rotors nice but they will still stop when hot, if you want cheap ---- get ceramics, they wont last, they will leave lots of dust and they wont stop when they heat up.
knowing you, you're prolly a pad slapper, meaning by this you dont turn your rotors and/or drums you just slap new pads on and call it a day, if you have a lip on your rotor edge chances are you need a new damn rotor, there is a spec on the inner back of the rotors, mic em out and if they are .020 or more above, cut em, if not take your *** and buy some rotors. like i said before, Bendix owns.
Thanks for the bendix suggestion, ill look into them.

Re:brake pads?
i use Bamboo rotors (front only, DRUMs in the back :P)
AEM pads and stainless steel lines all around.
it hold up really good at high temp. (mountain runs)
but the weir thing is tthe working temp on these pas are kinda high?? on really cold weather it needed to be warmed up. (take like 5 times of braking to get decent brake power)

Re:brake pads?
green stuff ebc's are pretty decent, your hawks are OK, axis metal master's will do well for you. I personally use axis in the rear on my car, in the front I use wilwoods, I've had very good luck with greenstuff's also. I don't particularly like hawks, but I can't put my finger on why. I think w/ the amount of driving you are doing the best bang for YOUR buck will be the axis pads, as they seem to last the longest, put out minimal dust and still perform as well as the other performance brands.

Re:brake pads?
thanks bamboo.
I was actually looking for your input specifically on this as i figured youd have a bit of experience.
Any heads up on where to order?
best ive found on the axxis is fastbrakes $65
Id like to find decent prices on porterfield r4s's too, but have had zero luck.

Re:brake pads?
I've used VGX pads with cross drilled rotors and I loved them. They lasted forever with my driving. The rears I always get cheapy pads because I never have any luck keeping the rear pads alive. I hate rear drums......

Re:brake pads?
Really? They suck? I abused the ---- out of them and they never faded. I would look at them like every time I got out of my car(it was a strange habit, plus I could see them through the rims)and they never showed any signs of wear. I'd buy them again.
