BLEEDING COOLANT

Default BLEEDING COOLANT

on a obd2 b16 i have no bleeder valve on the motor.how would i bleed it?

I think you just take the rad cap off, start your car, turn your heat on full hot and the air should just bubble out. You could also jack up your front end so it is the highest point in your cooling system so you can get the air pockets out. Just keep adding coolant until it won't take any more. The level should drop down if you were low when your thermostat opens. Keep going until your fan comes on, your heat is hot, coolant full, and the bubbles stop.

actually you turn the heat off, then when the thermostat opens turn the heat on, otherwise its going to take forever for the tstat to open. I usually hold the rpms around 2500 when bleeding to speed up the process.
