Default biggest slicks without rubbing?

I need a set of slicks, I searched through our slick threads but they werent much help. I dont want to use spacers, and i'm not modifying my fenders. What would be the best size slick? I expect to make somewhere between 350-400hp, I have stock brakes so I can use 13" or 14" wheel. will 23" slicks rub? and how wide can I go before running into problems?

24.5 might have to trim a little. 23's go on witout any problems

with a big tire like a 24 expect to snap stock axles with a real mans launch

lol, oooh I launch this bitch hard. its ok I have a whole pile of axles. BTW that crank you sold wellington somehow ended up in my garage, it better not give me any troubble... :P

What is the widest I could go with a 23" slick without problems? and what size wheel would you reccomend putting it on, obiously the smaller the wheel the more sidewall=more flex=better launch, but is 13 too small?

I had 23 inch slicks and they didn't rub at all. It was a 95 ex coupe on H&R sports springs that lowered it 1.8 in the front and 1.6 in the rear. The wheels were 13x8 and I had to use spacers to clear the ex brakes.
