I would do the subie swap. I am actually going to start on my neighbors car this spring if he gets around to it.

get an old ej22 OR a newer 2.5 single cam, the older 2.5's along with the turbo variants are dualcam and the heads are massive if space is an issue.

you can still build and turbo a non-turbo 2.2 or a 2.5 (look at red devil's subie)

He has an imported EJ20. It looks to have a small TD04 strapped to it. He was deciding on engine management and then we were going to install it and I was going to fab up all the piping.

subaru wiring diagrams are the dealership away. they'll have all the diagrams you need to make a new harness out of speaker wire and electrical tape. throw em $5 for the paper/toner or a case of beer and you're good to go.

coilpack regardless, i wonder if a honda ecu can be adapted?

my car was lighter then a factory turbo 911 (930) even on the rear wheels, aluminium heads helped with that some.
