When I take mine into the machine shop Im taking eveything. pp and pp bolts, flywheel and fw bolts, Crank and bearings, rods and bearings, Pistons and rings, and cranke pulley and bolt. Anything that turns with the crank I would take. Just my .02

why balance or better yet rebalance-honda cranks are allready balanced from the factory pretty good -better than just about any other company and so are your aftermarket parts so why rebalance? your not building a r6 motor that spins to 14K are you?

building a motor with 3x the stroke, you need that extra balance.

Well its only $125.00 to have it balanced at the machine shop, so why not.

to balance the crank they need

Crank, flywheel, bolts.

they just weigh out the pistons/rods/bearings/pins/retainers/rings and match the weights on each set.

My machine shop told me that the crank I brought him was the best balanced crank he had ever seen. He said dont worry about the flywheel but I would bring it anyway. Especially if its an aftermarket unit.

Well, got everything back and I am very happy, the crank had to have a couple of bugers tapped out and the flywheel also but all the rest
is good. Just waiting for the bearings to show up so we can get started on the build
