240/15 by god i hope not. that tire is WAY to wide for a crx!!! i think you mean something like 2xxR40/15??? check.. cuz if u have 185R60/15 or something you can go 205/40/15 for more tire to ground traction

Anyone know if 'strut' rods help at all with this? I need an excuse to buy one.

A) Wheel hop will be attributed to your cheap stock bushings. Put a poly, or aluminum bushing kit in it to fix that.

B) "Strut tower braces" will not help with traction going straight. They are used to stiffen the chassis. When you go around corners, your chassis actually flexes and twists. The braces keep it from twisting. They also transfer the force to the shocks and wheels. Shocks, and springs are wroth upgrading, but if you're all "slamming" your car to the ground, you're going to lose more handling ability.
Yes, it lowers your center of gravity, but it'll increase oversteer, which in autoX is horrible, not to mention your camber is WAY skewed. And a "camber correction" kit is needed..

So, bottom line, get bushing kit to decrease wheel hop, and strut tower braces won't help with drag racing, but will improve overall handling.

i always thought camber helped handling...just look at formula one cars...the angle straightens out when you go into a turn

Yes, but, we're not driving formula one cars that are going 100+ MPH around corners and the g force actually pushes the vehicle's camber out.

Plus, you dn't daily drive a formula one race car, and they get new tires every 7 to 10 laps.
Come on, lets be realistic. Having your camber off on a street car isn't practical. Having it in a drag car, actually hinders performance because you're not planting all of the tread to the ground correctly.

i was just saying that because i had air cylinders on my accord and it handled awesome whe it was low as hell and had a shitload of camber...my back tires actually rubbed on the inside of the wheelwell

Problem with that.. other than your tires won't last you more than 3 months, is that you create oversteer. In an autoX environment, you'd get out handled by stock rides.
